Today is D-Day for me. I'm not sure I can totally capture how I feel right now: a bit sick, nervous, and confused. Sometimes I'm blind to what is truely happening for the last 5 years, but I regret nothing and I still cherish every second. I think at the end of this I can see a bit of hope ... a small distant light.
No one is certain of anyone's future but there is always hope.

Right now I should be writting an important computer science research paper due in a few days, but I wanted to blurt something out quick about my obession with cars. Don't think that I'm some white trash camaro driving mofo or some asian pocket rocket supin' fob (I am korean though!) But the combination of watching a popular japanese anime called "Initial D" and the amazing PS2 game Gran Turismo 3, I'm suddenly becoming a car freak.

I'm sort of a Weezer fan. In the Blue and Pinkerton era, I loved all their songs, 100% of their tunes, including their b-sides. Since they released the Green album, I think my acceptance rate is averaging around 75%. This is still very good, since some of my favorite bands may just have a handful of really wicked songs but Rivers always finds a new way to dissapoint me. I'm going to show two album covers: One is an amazing cover designed by Heisuke Kitazawa for a weezer contest and the other is the actual CD cover release.

Getting an good email address at Yahoo or Hotmail is just getting harder and harder. I tried to sign up for a new email address for this blog for monkeyassassin@yahoo.com but it was already taken and I tried a few others without success. It was weird but I got obsessed and started trying out different logins just to see if someone already taken it.
My question is why someone would want an email address like these:
peanutass - TAKEN
manbitchwhore - TAKEN
tossedsaladman - TAKEN
cameltoe - TAKEN
spandexmaster - TAKEN

Here are some recent albums that were canned by some music critics but I can't get them out of my head (... seriously, I can't stop hearing them ... all the time. I think I'm going crazy! I spent yesterday breaking russian codes on websites.)
1. John Mayer "Room for Squares"
One of the new stars in the alt-country genre, this album is amazing. He dishes out tangy acoustic pop tunes with hot meaty lyrics and a side dish of charm. Since the album wasn't doing well initially, record company had Mayer re-mix some songs and record some covers, so I'm not sure what exactly what might be on the current album. He also does a mean Radiohead cover as well.
2. Natalie Imbruglia "White Lilies Island"
I think most people write her off as a one hit wonder or pre-produced pop diva but these songs are simply excellent. She covers many styles on this album but always gives emotional lyrics and catchy melodies. Oh yeah, she's DAMN CUTE.
3. Dashboard Confessional "The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most"
I have to admit that this won't kick you in the nuts right away, but you have to listens to it a couple times to give it time to wind up before it dropkicks your gonads. Trust me, I have to wear a jock everytime I listen to it.
Oh yeah, just so I don't leave you thinking I'm some gay sensitive emotional sap or just lost my balls here are some fucking rock singles to download:
Ash "World Domination" - These guys should be fucking huge!
Rival Schools "Used for Glue" - You can't go wrong with a pounding crazy ass riff.
Marilyn Manson "Fight Song" - Yeah, I know he's a freak ... but sometimes, once in a while, in a galaxy far far away ... he rocks.
Jimmy Eat World "Bleed American" - Dumbass, why haven't you heard this song? Pick up the "Clarity" album while your at it.
Saves the Day "All I'm Losing Is Me" - I have epileptic seizures every time I hear the opening riff.
I'm working on a loungy pop mix and possibly a few japanese artists for another post.
